Family and some new ink

Im chillin here in Jacksonville with shane, shiloh, caseyface, angel, mom, angelo and devon after a nice day surfin at the beach. We just got back from getting matching tattoos of a native american symbol of conjoined hummingbirds, its really sweet and has a lot of meaning. I now have seven tats and I think im finally done. I cant believe I only have 1 more week until im on a plane to germany for my fulbright year. I am very nervous about it all, there is so much that has to be taken care of, so much paper work, that im afraid ive lost track of it all and something is going to go horribly wrong. I finished my thesis and handed it in to my readers and they loved it, but I still have to do the french summary translation and an extra defense paper by the beginning of next week so I can have my degree before I leave for germany, haha! I am going to be studying IR and cultural anthropology at Hamburg University and teaching at Gymnasium Tostedt this year, im stoked. Its crazy, I have to get a bank account there, a cell phone, an apartment, a car, yadda yadda yadda, so much to remember! I have to move out of my place, pack, shop, research teaching materials, sign over my car to jonah, buy a headstone, cancel phone, etc.... Speaking of Jonah, he had some rediculous infection on his leg and ended up in the hospital. He is ok though. Clarissa died last sunday morning in a car accident, its amazing remember memories shared and realizing those are the remenants of your friendship with someone, however short. RIP Cla. I already have plans to visit amsterdam, copenhagen, italy, paris, and edinborough. at least, haha. Im going to be staying a few days on the island to celebrate with friends before shipping off, should be a good time. KK is already in scotland, I wonder how she is doing.... Life is crazy, but like Goodall, lets try to always carry the peace of the forest within us.
